Sermon Description: In this season of Epiphanytide, we are following Matthew's account of the early days of Jesus' public ministry. In Matthew 5, crowds gather around to listen to this mysterious figure. It is here that Jesus opens His mouth to share a foundational (and astounding) truth..."You are blessed." We must have it settled in our minds and our hearts that true blessedness is ultimately God's determination, not ours.
