"Humble King"
Pastor Nick Braunschneider

We, by nature, want a king we can rule over, not One who rules over us. If the reason we follow Jesus is to get our way or get what we want, it's only a matter of time before we turn on Him. And yet, Jesus, knowing our weaknesses and tendencies, still came for us...to be our (Servant) King! You can trust Jesus to be your faithful King, even in these difficult days.

Message begins at 35:49.

Scriptures:
Matthew 21:1-11
Psalm 31:10-18
Matthew 26:36-75, 27:1-54

Vision Day | Advance 2020

Audio:

It's easy for the church to get off track. There are so many good things that we could be doing. We will naturally be drawn to the things we can do best; those things which come easiest; things that excite us, or we enjoy most. But Jesus has given us one specific mission. It is not ours, it is His. And we are invited to join Him in it.

Scriptures:
2 Corinthians 4:1-12, 16-18
Psalm 95:6-8a
Matthew 28:16-20
