"The Father is Calling Us Home"

This Sunday has been called "Refreshment Sunday" by the Church. We saw in the Gospel reading from last week that the way is indeed narrow that leads to eternal life, and few find it. "Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3, 5). But as we turn to the Parable of the Prodigal Son, we learn that the arms of our God are open wide to all who come home to Him.
