Prayer Ministry Orientation & Training

Pender Dr. Office & Community Center

Prayer is a way we communicate with God and He wants to know us better. The Bible also has a lot to say about prayer and prayer for others.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us, And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. - 1 John 5:14-15

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. - Ephesians 6:18

On February 9, we want to take the opportunity to refresh and equip our current prayer ministers and intercessors as well as provide an opportunity for those interested in the different aspects of prayer ministry to learn more. The first half of the meeting will include an overview of the different components: confidential prayer tree, Elijah intercessors, prayer before the service, prayer rail and prayer appointments. We will also have an opportunity to receive from the Lord and to pray for each other. The second half of the meeting will allow the different groups of “pray-ers” to meet for special training, updates, and allow anyone interested in a particular prayer aspect to learn more. Please register below so that we know how many are attending. Please feel free to send any questions to Kristin at kcolligan@churchoftheapostles.org or Joe at jacanfora@churchoftheapostles.org.
