Vestry Elections

It's that time of year! We will gather after our Sunday morning church service on March 24 to discuss important updates about our building project, our finances, and our mission and vision as we continue to seek the Lord's will for this church in 2019. We will also hold Vestry elections for the three open seats to be vacated this year.

Vestry Elections 2019

• February 3, 2019 - Vestry Nominations Open

If you or someone you know would be a great member of our governing board, please pray and consider a nomination. To help you through this process, we've prepared this PDF to explain what it means to be a member of Vestry.

• March 11, 2019 - Nominations Close

By the close of business (4:30pm), all nominations must be submitted to the church office. 

• March 17, 2019 - Sample Ballots

On Sunday March 17, approved sample ballots with pictures and personal statements of each candidate will be distributed at church and available online. Please check with the finance office to confirm your membership status and eligibility to vote.

• March 24, 2019 - Elections

Come to the congregational meeting having prayed over your decision to cast your ballot. In order to be eligible to vote, you must be present at the meeting and meet the following requirements.

1: Be a Member of Church of the Apostles, being at least 16 years old, and having signed and submitted a membership covenant form.
2: Be known to the Treasurer, having contributed financially to Church of the Apostles in the past year.
3: Be known to the Rector, having worshiped with Church of the Apostles in the past year.
