Sermon: "Christ’s Ascension is for Our Benefit" | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: Jesus' ascension to the right hand of God the Father is undoubtedly one of the most important historical events, and essential to our Christian Faith. And yet, it could be the aspect of His ministry to us that is most overlooked by the Church. Jesus told His first disciples, "It is to your advantage that I go away..." (John 16:7). How so? What are the implications of Christ's present, heavenly work for us today?

Sermon:"Women, Men and the Diminishing of the Human Person" | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: To be human is to be limited. We don't know everything, nor can we do everything. We can't be all places at once. What if it was within our grasp to radically improve ourselves? Who would say no to a smarter, stronger, healthier, longer-living version of you? But even if radical self-enhancement was within our grasp, the question to be asked is, "At what cost?" The Christian Faith teaches that a person who is fully alive is not the one who casts aside all limitations, but the one who lives in the manner that God created him to live.

Sermon: “Say No To A Minimalistic Life” | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: We can easily treat our relationship with Jesus in a minimalistic way. We can operate according to the principle, "What is the minimum that is required?" This leads to a sparse spiritual life and faith. But our God is a God of abundance! Abundant love, abundance grace and mercy, abundant forgiveness. He has won the new life for us by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ-alone. But He delivers this promised life to us in a multitude of ways. He is the God of over and above and beyond!

Sermon: “We Are the People of His Pasture” | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: By the mercy of our great God, Christians have had the highest dignity and honor bestowed upon them. We have worth and value. We are seen, and known, and cared for by Jesus, our Good Shepherd. He loves and cherishes us as His very own, calling us "the people of His pasture, the sheep of His hand" (Psalm 95:7). A parallel truth is we are often misunderstood by the world, misrepresented, and at times, even despised. Knowing whose we are, and where we belong, is what enables us to press on in following our Shepherd!
