Sermon: "One River, Rushing Through The House Of The LORD" | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: Many Anglican churches profess a commitment to the "three streams" of historic Christian Faith and practice (Scripture, Sacraments, and the Spirit). But while it sounds nice and looks good on a website, in practice these streams do not easily flow together. One stream tends to win out, while the others dry up. However, In Luke's account of the presentation of the infant Jesus in the Temple, we see each of the three streams running strong! They flow from the One River, and empower the worship and witness of God's people.

Sermon: “Blessed From The Start” | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: In this season of Epiphanytide, we are following Matthew's account of the early days of Jesus' public ministry. In Matthew 5, crowds gather around to listen to this mysterious figure. It is here that Jesus opens His mouth to share a foundational (and astounding) truth..."You are blessed." We must have it settled in our minds and our hearts that true blessedness is ultimately God's determination, not ours.

Sermon: “Into the Wilderness” | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: The wilderness is often a place of isolation and danger. It can be a place of severe testing. The wilderness is where "that which wishes you harm" lies in wait. And yet...after inaugurating His public ministry at His baptism, the wilderness is Jesus' first stop. Why go to such a desolate place? What purpose did it serve? Our Savior is fulfilling all righteousness for us, and putting our great foe on notice! The devil's time is short.
